Picket Lane was established in September 1995 by Bryn Mukheibir as a small retail nursery specialising in seedlings and small flowering plants. Along with Siviko Moyo and Julia Hoggins, Bryn gradually began taking on small residential landscaping projects for a handful of nursery clients. Since those humble beginnings sixteen years ago, the award winning company has grown to offer a large range of horticultural services.

Bryn has a B Comm degree which aids the financial side of the business, Julia has a BSc honours degree in Botany and Zoology and Siviko is a skilled irrigation technician. Together the three make an experienced and innovative team of specialists. |
As committed members of the major green industry associations in South Africa, SALI – South African Landscapers Institute, the LIA – Landscape Irrigation Association and ECGF – East Cape Green Forum, the staff regularly attend national trade shows, conferences and meetings. As a result, they keep up with the ever – changing trends in the green industry, and continually bring new and creative ideas back to the Eastern Cape. Julia is also a member of the Business Woman’s Association. |
The company not only offers excellent service, but now has a large propagation nursery near Nanaga where predominantly indigenous stock plants are propagated to ensure that the plants used are of top quality and have been acclimatised to the tough Eastern Cape conditions. |
